- MedStaffing, Inc. requires that employees have a minimum of one year recent supervised work experience in the last two years within the current classification. Employee files contain license verification, CPR, negative PPD, yearly health statement, proof of immunizations, skills testing, skills checklist and yearly in-service for fire safety, universal precautions, body mechanics, OSHA and child/elder abuse as well as any other in-services attended, employees are re-evaluated after the first ninety (90) days of employment and then on an annual basis. MedStaffing, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or veteran status.
- Proof of background checks (references), criminal background, required immunizations and screenings licensure verifications area maintained at MedStaffing, Inc. This is confidential information available upon request to Facility.
- MedStaffing, Inc. warrants that all Services to be provided hereunder, whether by MedStaffing, Inc. Employee, directly or by approved sub-contractors, shall fully comply with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, rules and regulations, and that it shall be deemed a material breach of this Agreement by MedStaffing, Inc.
- No employee shall fail to observe this requirement.
- Specifically, but not by way of limitation, MedStaffing, Inc., warrants that the Services to be provided hereunder shall comply with all applicable rules, regulations and accreditation standards or requirements of the: Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"); National Committee for Quality Assurance; and updates to incorporate any changes to such laws, rules, regulations, requirements and standards.
- Insofar as MedStaffing, Inc. Employee has access to or has been provided with protected personal health information ("PHI" as defined by HIPAA) of Facility’s patients or employees, MedStaffing, Inc. Employee agrees that it shall;
a) Only use or disclose PHI as permitted (i) under this Agreement or (ii) by Facility under the HIPAA statute(s);
b) Use appropriate safeguards to prevent misuse of PHI;
c) Make PHI available to individuals as set forth under the HIPAA statute(s);
d) Return or destroy all PHI upon termination of the Agreement;
e) Require that its permitted sub-contractors under this Agreement, if any, agree in writing to these restrictions; and
f) Report any improper disclosure of PHI within ten (10) days of discovery to Facility.
- MedStaffing, Inc. hourly billing rate includes MedStaffing, Inc. Employee pay, general liability, malpractice, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance and all local, state and federal payroll taxes. A certificate of Workman Compensation and Personal-Professional Liability insurance is available upon request. Services are billed weekly.
